Landlord evicted me for use of property and didn’t move in, what do I do?

A landlord can use a two-month notice to end tenancy when they or their close family member will live in the unit. This means that the tenant will be forced to move out of the unit. What happens when the landlord or their family members don’t move in though? The tenant may have a right to claim for damages for 12 months’ rent payable.

We have experience in residential tenancy cases. We have the expertise to assist landlords and tenants in the issues that arise in their dealings.
